Dusty around here

Another post by the absentee blogger just to see how changes are working. I think this is now version 2.0.4 but don’t quote me.

ad free blog

By using this icon on my website I am stating…

1. That I am opposed to the use of corporate advertising on blogs.

2. That I feel the use of corporate advertising on blogs devalues the medium.

3. That I do not accept money in return for advertising space on my blog.

Sounds like a plan to me.

  •

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. In a large saucepan, combine the ketchup, water, brown sugar, cider vinegar, sweet pickle relish and Worcestershire sauce.
    2. Season with cinnamon, black pepper,  garlic salt and liquid smoke.
    3. Bring to a simmer over low heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
    4. Shred the ham and stir into the mixture.

Simmer longer if desired, then serve hot on hamburger buns. The mixture can also be frozen.

(Disclaimer: Since my cooking involves the use of a smoke alarm as my oven timer, I should this recipe came to me from New Zealand whose specialty tends to trhe culinary – visit her at Annie’s Pantry.)

    Super Bowl theme

Without going to great lengths and to explore Themes in this hosted environment, I applied Regulus. The black and gold tabs work nicely for me. The top logo’s cross emblem is reminiscent of the Steeler logo in a more permanent install I would consider making a custom graphic (were I not such an artistically impaired klutz and an title-holding world class Loafer.)
